Clepia Sketch + variant

Today is a day of updates!

I would also like to share with you the sketch of Clepia, the first version and the corrected version by JV Angel.

While waiting for gianluca to insert it into the gallery, I'll post it here too so as not to forget it!

Oh yes I heard that expression and I know that feeling too. ^-^ And you're welcome. :3 For me it felt so exciting when Vanessa drew my 3 yuri themed pictures (with 2 of them going towards my best friends in the whole world <3). To this day, I still can't get over how amazing they are, and 2 pictures for my best friends were ones they really enjoyed (especially my one friend seeing his girl with Vanessa's girl Mary since he's an artist and was inspired by Vanessa's artwork back in the day). ^w^

Yes... More than excited, I would say... Thoughtful. What excited me was receiving the messages from Vanessa. Have you ever heard the phrase 'it's the journey that matters, not the destination'? (I’m not sure how they say it in English). Well, it was something like that. I insist, this took a lot of time, and yes, partly my fault. But yes, it was quite emotional. I’m very specific, detail-oriented, and maybe I exaggerated in some aspects of this project, I swear, you have no idea the work, both from Vanessa and myself, to make this image a reality. In fact, I don’t even think she knows everything, and I’d prefer she didn’t. Just... let’s enjoy the image of this beautiful Victorian lady, and hopefully, in the future, I can do more similar projects. My intention was, and is, to take advantage of the talent and style of this fantastic artist. Again, I’m glad you like my idea.

Oh my. O//////O Clepia's solo sketch looks amazing, Vanessa! :D I can just picture J.V. getting excited with every update you give him. ;3 And of course us Patreons are excited to see more of Clepia too. >;D

Hey, you got it. I love it, yes, that's it. The costume... That wasn’t the idea, but you’re close. I’ll give you a hint, look at the trumpet (it’s a Baroque trumpet, the ancestor of the modern trumpet, just so you know). Also, look at Clepia’s head, that laurel crown. The book, check out the symbol on the book. Try to guess who Clepia is representing. I was really inspired by the Baroque period, but I wanted to combine it with the Victorian style. The idea of revealing more of her breasts was to represent the old paintings where women were depicted that way. That symbolizes something, look it up. I don’t know if you noticed the gloves too, Vanessa gave me two options, but she liked the short gloves, so I took that into account. Now, that little hat in the library is my way of referencing my country, Argentina. If you want the context of the hat, look up "regimiento de Patricios" on YouTube. I'm glad you liked it, it took us a lot of time, partly because of me. But look how beautiful it turned out, Vanessa did a great job, it was worth it.

Oh she's pretty! Hmm. Looking at the versions, in the first one she looks more ... Victorian, casual even, I think. The second one she looks a lot more done up, like she's posing for a portrait with a costume or something. I think I remember the word "Baroque" being used to describe her.

Erold

Yes, I had to think for a long time to decide which one I liked more.

J.V Angel

Ah, yes. I forgot I was wearing a corset at the beginning.

J.V Angel

Both versions certainly have their appeal.
