Dear Patrons, you know how much I always work hard...and if I was absent it's because I got a bad stomach flu that really knocked me out for weeks.
First with various symptoms including fever, vomiting etc etc... and then migraines and chronic fatigue. And the annoying thing is that I had it last year too, same dynamics! As if they would release it punctually in the fall.
As soon as I recovered I finished another commission that was from August, but being complex it took longer, and I will post it soon!
And then... I told some of you via PM that I had been hired in Italy to create the cover of a book that will be released by the end of the year and as a first task, as soon as I recovered, I had to do that.
I'm showing you how it should come out without the title above.
Yes, that is a Kermit puppet, because the book talks about the history of TV puppets in Italy spanning 5 decades and the bunny, is the mascot of the book that tells the story of all the puppets, is a collector who shows proudly his toys and stuffed animals in his display case.
It is basically an encyclopedia and each chapter talks about a decade of puppets, suits and animatronics form 50s to 2000 : the bunny, becouse is himself a puppet and now I am the 2D character designer!
Trivia: the robot on top is called Birillo and I met him "in person" ( my pic)! You should know that its creator, Marc Reynaud, is a robot builder and is the one who created the robot in the film Rocky IV, this is his brother! He was a character on Italian TV in the 90s.
Anyway...I don't want to go on too long but just explain and apologize to you. I will catch up on the updates and you will have many interesting and sexy ones again.
It was a difficult start to autumn, I'm also sorry because it is my favorite season and I had a bad time.

You're welcome, Vanessa. <3 That's just awful! ;_; May I suggest eating really light foods? The toast is good. I would also suggest light soups since they're easy on the stomach. :o I remember having the same problem of my stomach bitching at me for anything that I ate. X_X I would suggest staying away from high sugar pastries and snacks since that will make it upset. >.> But fresh fruit like grapes and strawberries would be good. :) I would recommend getting the frozen fruits since you can heat those up at your leisure and have them. THOUGH with anything you eat, just eat tiny portions of it than normal. :o If you eat big, it'll upset your stomach. x-x I hope this information was helpful. :< And I hope you get well soon, Vanessa! <3 <3

I'm sorry you also had the stomach flu! 😥 I confirm that it releases months of tiredness and weakness.☹️ You all know that I'm already always weak and I have osteoporosis and fibromyalgia, diagnosed, so for me it's a blow. Above all I feel tired because of the weakness and weakness and I struggle to get on the computer and start, but I'm trying hard to get back to work because the real effort is getting started! But if I start then I slowly get into the rhythm and I can stay for some hours. After 3-4 hours I have to rest because I'm hungry... but I don't know what to eat! 😭 Lately I take a toast and heat it in the toaster without anything when I'm hungry...

D: I caught a BAD one back in 2019 and I didn't recover fully until 5 months later. x.x But I really hope you get better real soon, Vanessa! <3 Also that's wonderful that puppet book (with your cover art) will be released at the end of the year. :D Your contributing artwork for that book is amazing and it'll be awesome for the people of Italy to see it too! ^o^ Also thank you again for the amazing trivia facts, Vanessa. :DDDD

2024-10-12 08:53:47 +0000 UTCPS: Oh yes, in the frame there is a portrait of the author of the book who is also the voice actor of the bunny! In the 50s there is Topo Gigio, maybe some of you know him because he is an international character.
