Updates for special announcement

As I announced, here is a short video for you of the coloring process of the latest artwork and also a special WIP that I want to tell you!

Next week I will be in London, the first time in 30 years that I have been to the English capital!

London... it was the school trip I organized when I was head of class at high school, I have wonderful memories about it, it was 1994! Despite being in EU I was no longer able to go there but next week it will happen again and I owe it in part to you!

I will participate in Brand Licensing Europe, a fair where brands and licenses of the most well-known characters are discussed, in which I signed up to be able to present and have my first meetings with the Mattel Poochie brand which I now represent as an agent, with my drawings!

It will be a very strong experience for me, not only because I will face this journey alone but also in a foreign language and I will have many impacts and emotions. My goal is to be able to sell this license and get my own brand desk next year, but now I'm a rookie and I first have to go and understand how everything works.

But I already have some appointments that I have made via the event website, where you can find out about the companies you would like to have a meeting with and book it! Pray and cross fingers for me XD!

I started organizing this trip months ago, in fact the commissions I took in August from you were used to pay for my flight and train pass. You didn't know!

If I hadn't done the errands it would have been difficult, so thank you! You helped me embark on this fantastic adventure.

But I also want to thank Gianluca (the webmaster who takes care of the site and the updates) and his family, because he lives in the UK, outside London, and they will host me at their home, he also helped me do other things including the passport trains and much more... I really don't know how to thank them, and how to repay such exceptional friends!

This drawing is inspired by this trip, but it's also a cute idea for halloween, so when I get back I'll color it for you all. It's a commission I made myself to celebrate this trip XD

I will be in the UK for 6 days, because I really wanted to spend two days after the fair in London, visiting some places that I would like to see again. I will absolutely include Portobello Road if I can, for photo hounding of Victorian objects. The Portobello Road Market dedicates the whole day on Saturday to antiques and I can experience a real ecstasy!

I will return to Italy full of emotions and happiness, I'm sure of it.

And I hope to do meetings and business!

I will open new commissions this winter but I can't tell you when yet, however I am already receiving requests in advance! So maybe there won't be any slots available next time, wow...you guys are awesome! Thank you!

When I get back the first thing I'll work on will be the new PBB page anyway, and I'll share the other two remaining commissions! And then I'll color this drawing for Halloween, which for me will mean a memory. I think I will then print this and hang it in my studio XD
