Blog; I'm back

I am back and a new PBB page is coming.
I have been in silence for more than 10 days, you could have guessed the reason if you have followed my short blogs.
My father is still in the hospital, he was hospitalized for septic shock, pneumonia and then they discovered a gallbladder and a rock but then... he had covid there too, and in the meantime ( during these 10 days) he has had two surgeries.
This man had 5 surgeries in one month, and one is missing to remove the lung tumor.
I swear to you, he risked dying but for three days he finally started eating again, he could not swallow anything before because he had been on a total fast for a month, if he had passed this phase then they would have operated on his lung otherwise he would have died.
He has been eating for three days and yesterday has picked up his cell phone and has been able to answer calls and even write something. Bad LOL, but he tries. He left me a comment under the photo of a pizza telling me that he was envious because he would like it, I replied that it will be the meal of victory and we will eat it first as soon as he comes home.
Now the last effort, the lung surgery, dad will surely stay in the hospital until June but now he eats and is recovering his strength.
Now I will start to dedicate more time to PBB-Next and other projects that I could not wait to do: commissions!
Also I was invited to Rome to the event of the publication of a book that I drawn cover and created the character design of the mascot in 2021, a book that was out of print and went into reprint! If possible I will show you photos and videos, even if it will all be in Italian.
It will be on the 27th, in nine days, and I didn't know whether to accept or not to attend, as a guest, because I was worried, but now I can rest assured. And my mom will be there too.
Thank you all for your patience and support this month, now I'm back to finish coloring the new page!

I'm sorry that your father has been hit with an unlucky stick, Vanessa. D: Though I'm glad that he is regaining his strength and he just has one more surgery to go before he can finally leave the hospital and be with your mother at their home! <3 Also congrats on the invite of being a guest at this publication of this reprint book! :D I and the other patrons look forward to seeing what you have created last year! ^o^

When my mom had her stroke and I visited her in the hospital I always had starbucks with me, it was a long drive and I was tired as hell. She would always point at my cup, she couldn't talk yet. I always told her the doctors said no to you, but that doesn't stop me right. She would the flip me the bird and try to laugh. I. Would always respond, get out of here faster and I will get you one first. When we left one month later, we stopped at the starbucks inside the hospital before anything else. She was so happy. Hope he keeps improving and try not to over extended yourself.
