How I would like to know how to draw them too .... but I'm not Japanese, this talent depends also in the DNA LOL, I'm Roman and therefore I'm more classic ... like my ancestors XD

I saw it for the first time in Tokyo in 2018 because it is one of the mascots of the Ueno zoo and was present on many gadgets in all the shops in the area and also on discount coupons for park tickets. I didn't know him up until that moment, he's a gorgeous animal! It's true, they have a penetrating and fascinating and piercing gaze, in photos it looks very intelligent! But in all honesty I didn't look for drawn references, also because I don't know many furry artists and in fact what you tell me comes new to me, but I'll look for it now because I've just finished the BW page! Yay! I did it to my taste, maybe a little classic, but I hope it's still nice.

2021-06-22 16:58:43 +0000 UTCThat's cool. You are doing a shoebill. The only other time I have seen an anamorphic shoebill is from the anime Kemono Friends season 1, episode 6. You typically go for more animalistic features than they did, but I do like the way they did her hair to represent her as a bird, and she had this piercing stare that made her iconic for the series. Can't wait to see your version, but if you want a reference on how it was done before, look that up. Keep up the great work. Love the world cup pictures by the way, poor will just cannot win. A field filled with long legged beauties, and still gets hit in the face by a soccer ball, hilarious.ππ€£π
