BLOG the new computer!

And here is the third part of my blog, this time regarding computer purchase updates!

To start, also in February, my computer started to malfunction, as you can see. Among the various breaks the network card broke, I could no longer go on the internet, so I remedied by putting an external cable to the computer ... sucks, because now I have this very long and bulky cable on my workstation. But it will be there for a little while longer!

As previously mentioned, all events are connected, so when I was diagnosed with osteoporosis the doctor told me, on February 5th: " you have to work outside the home, find a place in the sun to stay at least a couple of hours a day, or however you have to move to rooms where the sun is shining on your station or on the balcony." This is because my house faces north, my studio is always in the dark.

So, since there was this beautiful park near my house, with the tables ... on February 9th I found a surface pro 7 on offer with an incredible discount and I bought that! The idea was to bring it to the park every day.

I have long wanted a tablet, but also a new computer in case mine suddenly crashes leaving me suddenly unable to work.

At first I wanted an Ipad pro, but Apple technology is closed, it's not open source, and I need USB outputs, and the Surface Pro is also a real computer, with Windows 10, so I can use it both as a tablet and as a as a computer, and above all I can carry it around!

Unfortunately the lockdown has closed the parks, but they will reopen, and in the meantime I can work on the balcony.

 A few days later I bought the keyboard, always with a discount, so now only the pen is missing, which was ordered 2 days ago! Unfortunately I have not found a very high discount for the pen, only 15 euros, but it is always a XD discount

Now I'm waiting for the pen to arrive to unbox and start working on the new tablet / computer.

I can not wait!

I just hope that the pen is not too heavy because the only negative thing I can say, of this choice, is that the microsoft pens are all battery operated, and therefore they are heavy, because they have two batteries inside ... and this it annoys me because 50 grams are not few ... but I hope that in the future they will be able to make a rechargeable light pen like the Apple Pencil.

In any case, I continue to save for a more powerful desktop computer, but for now this was the best and right choice for my needs, I will buy the desktop computer more calmly later.

And here's how my last month was, kinda "tough" huh? XD
