Now that the new page has been published, I relax a little and want to talk to you about the second part of my February diary.
Unfortunately, on February 4th I made a bad discovery about my health and for a week I didn't work, because I was in shock, but over time, after I started the therapies, I calmed down a little even if I stil had a bit of anxiety about the lockdown because I stopped part of my therapy.
On February 4th I did a DEXA scan, on my bones, because I had pain in my back and knees for months, and I was diagnosed ... at just 43 years old, the osteoporosis, and advanced level too.
My bones have aged prematurely and their condition is between 60 and 70 years of age.

The shock of discovering that my bones are thin and fragile like those of an elderly woman made me feel very sick and I somatized, it was a week in which I was terrified at every movement because I'm afraid of fractures , but it was just panic.
Last time I told you that I have a lack of vitamin D and that I had to sunbathe, by prescription, but I did not tell you this part of the story as well, which makes everything more understandable.
The sun is used to activate the Vitamin D which I need to absorb calcium for my bones, even the sun is therapeutic for the bones.
Staying locked in the house for a year has aggravated and speeded up this disease which is perhaps genetic in my case because I am too young to have osteoporosis and above all I have a lot of estrogen (the collapse of estrogen occurs after the age of 50, after menopause), not I smoke, I eat dairy products, but ... I didn't do any physical activity because the gyms were closed and I didn't sunbathe.
Now I have also started taking medicine, they are for people of 80...but I cannot wait until I have a T-SCORE of 3 to take them ( mine is 2,6 at the moment ) , I have to avoid it and therefore my doctor has prescribed this dosage for me.
Being young we hope to stop the process and strengthen my bones! :)
So now I have to at least take some vitamin D supplements but I hope the lockdown ends soon so I can go out, go back to the gym to strengthen my muscles and bones, and get some sun.
The second part of this BLOG concerns the purchase of the new computer and is closely linked to this fact, because my final choice was decided after February 4th, following the medical report. But I don't want to go too long and mix two topics so I'll tell you about that in a third post.
With this post I wanted to tell you that you have to move and sunbathe when is possible, expecially now that is spring, when you see the sun put yourself under it, because the lockdown closed at home has caused a lot of loss of vitamin D to everyone and many underestimate the importance of leaving the house, even if only in the garden or on the balcony.
Do not be sedentary, always look for a few daily minutes to be kissed by the sun!
