Symphony La Traviata

Today Gianluca has uploaded for you one of the most beautiful drawings I've made so far, in traditional: Symphony featuring "La Traviata" the popular Italian Opera by Giuseppe Verdi, in Bon Bon!
At the end of 2020 I received the request for a custom sketch from Jaina Mitchell who asked me for "Symphony" aka Constance Mayflower one of my PBB Legacy OCs that I had made for the Royal member Symphony.
A at the time, on the old site, who he had been a subscriber for more than a year, and particularly active in the forum, he could ask me for an avatar / background character for the PBB universe.
Some Royal members already had their own avatar and I just had to reinterpret it with my style, but Costance Mayflower is one of those born from nothing, if not with a description and some photographic references, then an OC of mine, donated to Symphony.
So at first thought I gave in that she was the one who won the available $ 200 slot, but it wasn't her ... so I asked Jaina why he chose and he replied because finds Symphony character fascinating and he really likes it!
So ...during our messages, I told him that Symphony had been asking me for a commission for this character for a long time, but I was always busy or not ready to open commissions, and that seeing her character in a commission would have pleased her!
Jaina then surprised me by making me a proposal that made my heart beat: he would have been satisfied with the HD scan and I would have had to send the original drawing to Symphony as a Christmas present!!!...
Can you imagine a more beautiful gesture? Can you imagine my emotion and joy of having such good and generous patrons?
Not only had I recently received Kanbe donation and all those commission requests, this was a happy ending to 2020 that made me so happy to forget all the bad things of the year !! What a wonderful finale!!
I decided to pay the shipping costs for Symphony myself because I wanted to send something to both of us, so I sent jaina the portfolio that was included in the tier and an additional sketch that you will also find in the gallery, while to Symphony I sent the artwork.
But I want to clarify one thing, it is not an ordinary custom sketch as I had thoughtfor the reward, worth $ 200 ... no, this is worth a lot more, I worked on it a week and used expensive materials, the Copic, so don't expect a job like that for $ 200 in the future ...
I did it so full of details because Symphony has always supported me, for more than 10 years, since the days of PBB Legacy and it has been my patreon since 2017 as soon as I opened this page, always supporting me. She deserved a special treatment, understand me.

because I'm Italian and I pay homage to one of the greatest composers in history, it would be a prestigious tribute to Symphony too.

Simphony at the end of the Opera comes out on stage to take the applause of the enthusiastic audience! Roses rain from the sky, she is happy with the success of the performance!

Oh wow. I wasn't expecting that either. I'm happy that I was part of you having a good experience the, and I'm flattered that you'd remember it after all these years. You went by a different username back then, if I'm not mistaken. When I learned about your generous gesture, I suspected that we had met on the old site, but I wasn't sure at first. Hearing your story behind making the Symphony Pin-up, to Jaina commissioning her in the first place, to even hearing Symphony's feelings about the picture......It's so damn wonderful. :'D I'm happy you were to create such a marvelous art piece Vanessa, and I'm happy that Symphony loves her gift from Jaina! ^o^ This is just so wholesome that I was smiling and full of joy reading these posts! :'3

2021-02-02 05:06:24 +0000 UTCI'm glad you're happy with the art Symphony. In all honestly it feels like a small kindness compared to what I received all those years ago when I first stumbled on PBB. I don't exactly remember the interactions, but I remember you, Daphne, Johnny, and Caroline all making me feel like sticking around to appreciate a wonderful artist, and in the long run getting on the road to figuring out who I am. When I managed to grab the tier level and it was restricted to existing characters yours was the first that came to mind. So when on top of that while chatting with Vanessa I found out that you'd been trying to get a commission of Constance done for some time now, I just saw it as a way of doing something nice for someone who'd done so much more for me. So again, thank you for everything you did back then, and I'm glad you are happy with the art.

Not only is it a beautiful picture, with deep personal value to me, but the generosity and kindness put into this is breathtaking. Vanessa, you’ve always been the perfect artist to draw Constance. Before discovering your work, I had much less attachment to the furry community and art. It was your artwork that inspired me to seriously create a fursona, and write details such as background story, preferred outfits, character traits and so on. Even the name “Constance Mayflower” was inspired by your use of flowers and colors in character names. I wanted a fursona, that I could imagine living and breathing in the world you have created. Bon Bon became, in many ways, an imaginary wonderland and sanctuary, where I could develop my fursona. I also love how a picture is not just a picture with you. There’s always a story behind your work, and you add all kinds of details – things that I have never heard of, but always find fascinating. Your passion for your work is remarkable and highly inspiring. And Jaina, I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and generosity. I would never have expected something like this, and the fact that you asked Vanessa to send the original drawing to me, has completely blown my mind. It is such an amazing gesture. I simply can’t thank you enough.

Simply love Symphony custom piece. Couldn't ask for a better Christmas gift. The sketch is very nice as well. Too a better year.
