The new page is online and I would like to explain the references of the last panel, even if I have already talked about it in past posts.
The gifts Violet received are:
1- The first tube lipstick in history, created by Guerlain who was responsible for the very first modern-day lipstick, made with a wax base in 1870. "Ne m'oubliez pas" was its name and it came in a refillable container with a 'push-up' mechanism.
2- Acqua di Parma is a fragrance born in Parma, Italy. Unfortunately it was born 20 years after 1895 ... but I wanted the Lord Piselloni (an Italian Marsican brown bear) to give Violet an Italian perfume of great refinement.
So this time I cheated ... I ask for your forgiveness! XD
Acqua di Parma begin in 1916, when the last echoes of the Belle Epoque could still be heard, conjuring up the whirl of high society, the Can-Can, evenings of dance and theater and the last luxurious horse drawn carriages.
As soon as Acqua di Parma Colonia made its appearance it rapidly spread through the highest echelons of the city, its esteemed reputation carried by word of mouth. From the start it the Acqua di Parma brand had a perfect symbiosis with that elite world where high class tailors and seamstresses were a fundamental point of reference for style, along with perfumes, leather accessories and other extraordinary hand crafted objects.
I have never bought it but sometimes I go to "steal" some spray in perfumery from the free tester LOL
3- Last but not least the "Mozart Balls" are the Bon Bons which inspired the title Bon Bon of this story during my holidays in Austria, in Innsbruck, in the 90s!
From Wikipedia: A Mozartkugel (English: Mozart ball), is a small, round sugar confection made of pistachio, marzipan and nougat that is covered with dark chocolate. It was originally known as Mozart-Bonbon, created in 1890 by Salzburg confectioner Paul Fürst (1856–1941) and named after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

I have tried them and they are the most delicious Bon Bons I have ever taste! Too bad I can't find them in Rome T_T
