Betty from 1995

I have a little surprise for you, which was great for me instead.

A high school classmate of mine sent me photos of her school journal where I drew my characters at her request!

She was the first PBB fan ever! Her name is Valentina and she is still my friend, on Facebook, with whom I stay in touch.

I absolutely didn't remember these drawings! She sent me these photos, she doesn't have a scanner, and I was so happy!

This is one of Betty's pinups that I designed in her journal, a 1950s version, but I also made other themes.

I have to be honest, I never was bullied in high school and all my schoolmates are still my friends and everyone wanted my drawings, some even paid me for commissions!

The amazing thing is that everyone was asking me for Miss Betty! I swear to you. I still hadn't done the PBB comic but when they saw my characters they were all curious and asked me to draw them for them.

It's an experience you couldn't imagine, it was the 90s, I drew furry, OC and my classmates were fans of it ... before the internet existed LOL Maybe because I was nice with all and I made my classmates smile with jokes ah ah ah!

But still, I was very popular for what I was doing, so everyone came to ask me for a Miss Betty pinup! XD For real!

I did them in various costumes, from various eras, not only in Victorian style.

This design is not beautiful, it is full of imperfections, but my friend loves it! <3 It is a memento of high school.

So I decided to draw this pinup again in HD with my current PBB-Next style! :D

I have already done it, you will have it soon! ;)

My question is: these pinups are SFW, when you see the new version let me know if you like to see other pinups redone, from my friend's journal.

They will all be a surprise, but I won't show you if you are not interested.

Let me know!

Dang~! OoO A middle ground between Pinkie Pie and Applejack....No wonder why you were popular when you have the best of both of those girls personalities (while being in school). XD But that's really awesome that they you were the class leader, Vanessa! :D While there is no character that has 100% of your personality (in the PBB-Next comics), you have created some astounding characters with incredible dynamics, Vanessa. :3 And I believe that's why a lot of people love your characters so much from PBB-Next. ^w^ Seeing each character be different from one another, having strengths and weaknesses, and having a unique charm to them is what makes your characters really amazing. ^o^ And you're doing a good job being the director of your story and making all the pieces fall into their specific spaces. ^-^ That's awesome that you loved both The Rescuers movies, Vanessa! X3 And thank you for the compliment. :D P.S. I hope you had a wonderful birthday this year. ^-^

To start, thank you very much for your enthusiasm! So, I wasn't popular for beauty, fashion or wealth ... but since I was very friendly and creative, I was like ... um ... a middle ground between Pinkie Pie and Applejack LOL, funny but also hardworking and serious . That's why they elected me class leader, they trusted me because I was funny but also serious. The strange thing is that there is no character that I created with this kind of personality. Betty is a leader but not funny, while Violet is not a leader but she is funny, Mary is stubborn, dreamy but naive, William is sincere, courageous but a rude XD No, there definitely isn't a character that has my personality. My characters are born independently with their own personalities :) I am the director. I love The Rescues! Both the first and second chapters! The role you thought of for Betty is amazing! :D

Thank you! She is a lucky character! And to think that she was born as OC for a "ship" in my first ( and only) fanfiction with Basil of Baker Street LOL This is one of my secret ;P (I did a comic of this story, but never finished)

OOOOH! That's a compliment! Sophia is a truly DIVA <3 She and Gina Lollobrigida are my favorite Italian actresses ever! And they are both still alive, I love them so much! They have superfine charm and elegance.

Yay! Thank you! I am happy that this idea is receiving so many approvals ^_^

Thank you! I'm glad you like it! Honestly, I really enjoyed doing it and I would like to do another one as soon as possible.

Thank you!! :D

Thank you! I'll take this as an endorsement to continue ;)

Before I begin, I will answer your question: THAT'D BE FREAKING AWESOME, VANESSA!!!!!! :DDDDD About the rest of the post, that's so wicked that you were very popular in high school! ^o^ And like a lot of people here have said, your artwork shinned back then and it still shines to this day. :3 I find it both a little funny and amazing how Betty was your most popular girl to be commissioned by your classmates and friends. ^-^ It just shows that her popularity in the PBB world is just as real as it is in the real world. ;) Finally, your 1950's version of Betty looks really great. ^w^ She reminds me a bit of Miss Bianca from The Rescuers. :) Hell the way she looks here, Betty could be a member of the Rescue Aid Society's. ;D

Kanbe Namura

That's awesome. Even back then, she still looks amazing. Miss Betty sure has come a long way from being a fan OC.

I like this very much. Reminds me very much of the film star Sophia Loren.

Definitely looking forward to any old art updated ^^ (SFW and NSFW included)

Looks great, would absolutely love to see them redone. It would be a waste not to see them.

This is great, I love stuff like this!

I'd be happy to see these old pinups redone. It's great that your characters were such a hit, even back then; it's a testament to your creativity and willingness to share it.
