Corona Virus in Italy

I wanted to reassure everyone that I'm fine!

Rome has not yet been affected as much as other regions but mandatory legal regulations have been taken all over Italy, as staying more than a meter away from citizens, not touching each other, etc. etc.

Unfortunately in Italy at the moment there is a lot of panic, mass iseria and hardships, many difficultes. When I go shopping I never find everything I need, for example yesterday the white rice was finished, there was only the black one left ... 

Last night there was a big trouble in Lombardy, a real run to the trains by people to escape from northern Italy, the most hurted region... red area now.

The virus is spreading rapidly and the problem is that there is no place for everyone in the hospital. They said that "selectivity"will begin ... if a patient is very old and sick ... it will not be followed as much as a young patient with a greater chance of recovery.

All the fairs and conventions have been canceled, I'm talking about everything, from comicon to fashion shows, every kind of fair. All meeting places are closed: gyms, cinemas, bookstores, schools, churches ...

You can't really leave the house.

Because basically there is not enough space in hospitals and intensive care units. If you get sick ... you don't have many chances to be cured, so the spread and the contagions must be contained.

I live in the second country, after China, more afflicted, we are the second in the world in contagions and deaths, but I guarantee you that it was not we Italians who created the Corona and to have been the first to spread it in Europe . This is because Italy is a hospitable country and there was a certain taboo to blocking all foreigners a month ago, we didn't want to seem racist. The zero patient in Italy is officially German. So as we have not been racist ... I hope nobody will be with us. 

Certainly now the Italians are behaving like children, we are a people thoughtless sometimes, lazy and cheerful because we enjoy the life , and for this reason some Italians have gone around without precautions, believing the situations was not so serious, fearless, and now they are all panicked and agitated.

As for me I am optimistic but very very cautious, I stick to all the rules and I will take care of myself, even if tomorrow I have to go to the supermarket to refuel and I will have to buy everything I can, but without looting, I'm not an irresponsible maniac. You know me! :)

I have not found any surgical mask in Italy to protect myself, they are all sold out, but I have a package of that I had bought in Japan in 2018! I had bought them because I have a spring allergy and tomorrow I will wear it for grocery shopping. They are pink...I'll be the only Italian with a fancy pink surgical mask  ;)  ( right now I have spring allergy and I am sneezing, I'll wear it so as not to sneeze around and create more panic!) 

I hope to find food to stay in the house as much as possible with my cat, like tuna, white rice, pasta, tomato sauce, coffee, milk, water, eggs...wow...it seems the end of the world, what a weird sensation.

I will continue to draw and publish PBB, I am finalizing the new page, you will see it soon. I just have Patreon at the moment to feel happy and distracted, I only have you, so I will commit myself to continue PBB- Next, hoping that you will support me so I will be able to buy what I need and not fall into fear or despair. 

I wont panic.

You patrons are now more important than any other moment to me, because I feel isolated and out of my house there are lost people, who cannot to work, and when a person cannot work or cannot go at school  because of a curfew around the clock  , it's like feel dying inside, you may experience a huge and unmanageable depression. 

I feel so sorry for the people who are forced to close their stores due to the Virus. 

I fear that Italy will soon experience great austerity.

I will continue to draw PBB, I hope you will continue to support me, you patrons are a great comfort and encouragement for me to continue everyday life in this moment.
