A post about PBB Reboot
Added 2019-09-24 10:50:31 +0000 UTCA post to renew my motivations and my future plans to restart PBB for those who have been added as my new Patrons or who are thinking of doing it :)
In short, the reasons for this mature (and no longer +18) genre reboot are:
1: To share and sell my product better, both online and once printed when I get the chance (maybe print on demand on Amazon or crowfunding, I haven't decided yet, I have to finish it before).
It is obvious that a mature erotic comic can be shared, bought and read more easly and in offhandedly way than a porn comic ... I also feel smoother and peaceful when I share the free pages everywhere! Also my mum can read it this time LOL!
I believe erotic and mature operas today are more cool and welcomed than 15 years ago, expecially if there is humor and style.
The porn version is more difficult to handle, sell and share, it is true. And I want to spread PBB as more as I can.
2: There are still disputes and problems with the right of the first series. I can share the E-book version on my Patreon but I still have no money from the sales of the first site since 2017, Ronald keeps all the money and royalties.
I don't want to talk about it, but for me it is really unfair and it would be unfair for me to provide new material for that series, material that could easily be downloaded and uploaded on that site without my knowledge, fueling sales.
So NO, as long as PBB-Legacy is not mine, only mine, PBB-Legacy will not be continued as you remember.
3: Improve the first chapter because it is not designed very well and there are so many things done in a hurry, inconsistent things, so many errors ...
Now I have a new fresh style, I have improved and I want to correct my mistakes by making a quality product because others comic artists are very good, I want to be sure to show a comic of which I am proud. Also present it at comic cons, especially that.
And in fact there are some good feedbacks in all this because both online, and in real life, people are congratulating with me for my improvement or they are knowing me for the first time with curiosity and they like my job! :D
No one is embarrassed (because it is not a porn) and indeed, now they invited me to the Comic Con in the Artists Alley to show PBB to everyone, I will bring (sexy) pinups prints, my portfolio, and I will draw for the public :D
These things didn't happen with PBB-Legacy.
I did not receive these gratifications and satisfactions as now. Incomparable.
So now I am really happy and more relaxed to have made this difficult choice.

Hai fatto bene a fare questa scelta. Dal punto di vista morale hai solo da guadagnarci. Finalmente hai la possibilità di realizzare qualcosa che più o meno tutti possono leggere e che risulta sicuramente meno pesante (o "offensivo") per le persone in generale. Spero che sarai fiera di questa versione molto più di quanto tu non lo sia per quella precedente.

2019-10-04 09:18:08 +0000 UTCThis is a great post for new Patreons (or soon to be patreons) to know what you’re going to be doing with the PBB-Next series, Vanessa. :D And I’d like to give you some of my thoughts (like what Silvador and Todoxas did). ^_^ It makes total sense that you make the reboot a mature (16+) comic, because you’ll have an easier time selling the comic in both fashions. :o And you’re totally right that erotic comics are much more in now than they were back in the early 2000’s. :) While I’m a fan of the porn version, it really is difficult to do all the things you mentioned, Vanessa. @-@We’re not there yet that porn comics can be seen as a “normal adult” thing. However your reboot will sure get more readers that’s for sure. :D I know I have said this a million times by now, but I’ll say it again. I’m really sorry to hear what Ronald has done by not giving you the money and royalties that you deserved, Vanessa. :( I fully understand for stopping the continuation of PBB-Legacy, because he doesn’t deserve the attention (especially to try and get members for the old PBB website). DX I can 100% say for sure (to new Patreons) that Vanessa’s reboot of chapter 1 is 1000% more amazing than in PBB-Legacy! :DDDD While your first chapter is still impressive, especially making it all by hand and back in 2003, the new chapter feels….like it has more heart. <3 Like this is what you wanted to do all those years ago, but couldn’t. And the pages express that so well. ^w^ Plus your new style looks really great too and I absolutely love it, Vanessa! ^o^ This is a comic that will be truly loved at the comic cons you’ll be going to in the future. :3 And I’m very curious to hear what people say about your new PBB-Next comic at Romics. X3 I am happy to hear that you’re also getting the praise for the amazing work you’re doing (both online and in real life) with the PBB-Next series, Vanessa. (✿◠‿◠) I know I don’t have a long history that Silvador, Todoxas, and a lot of the other old PBB members do with your work. However I’m so happy that I’m able to support your amazing content, Vanessa. :) I enjoy the PBB-Next series, and I do like seeing each new chapter from the legacy series too (since I never was a member of the old website, this is like my first time reading them). 2019-09-30 17:18:40 +0000 UTCMy personal desires aside, I understand your position on the change and also the continuation of PBB-L. In truth, I don't think I will miss the old comic. Next has already proven to be such a wonderful read that I find myself "moving on" quite easily. I would say that this is a good sign for PBB-N; I'm fully invested in it and its progress, and am so eager to see each new page that Legacy is an afterthought. When a new page is complete and posted, I don't think about the old comic, the new and old don't get compared in my mind; my only thought is how wonderful Next is turning out to be, for so many reasons. I also understand that it would essentially double your work load trying to continue Legacy; you would be doing two comics at once. This would run the risk of stifling your drive to work on Next, not to mention updates for it would become less frequent. Next and this Patreon has also proven to be such a wonderful boon for you. You clearly have a lot of support and love coming your way, directly from your readers this time. You have absolute control over how things are done and what things are done. Next is like a new life, not just a new chapter in your current life, but a whole new book. Legacy was your cocoon, Next is what comes after the cocoon, a beautiful butterfly (or moth, if you want. Some moths are truly lovely to see). Trying to continue Legacy would be like a chain, anchoring you to the past, to something that is perhaps better left behind so that you can fully flourish and move forward. I will always miss the more hardcore aspects of Legacy, but I'm much more invested in the characters and story than just seeing regular, explicit sex scenes. Plus, you did such an amazing and sexy job with the recent scene of Mary. Sometimes a little restriction can actually be good because it forces one to find creative and new ways around an obstacle, resulting in fantastic things. We may never have gotten that wonderful page with Mary's hand positions if you were just going to show -everything- to begin with. But, I can still look forward to such naughtier scenes in the pinups, so I can be happy about that. :D In short, you have my absolute support continuing this path and I'm eager to see new page your create and share. You're doing an incredible job with Next and I want to see it continue.

Not only did it introduce me to the amazing world of erotica and all of its wonders, helped turn me into a full blown furry, help through a lot of the rough times, but it has also helped inspire and mold me into the artist i am today. It is a beautiful comic, with a wonderful cast of characters and an unforgettable story that always manages to move me every time I go back to it. I know I say this a lot, but this comic means a lot to me, regardless of it’s rating and content. Not only that, but being a patron and supporting Vanessa has been nothing short of an honor and a privilege. I may not be able to offer much, but I am always eager and willing to do my best to help support my friend and idol, in any way I can. Without Miss Santato and her amazing comic, I wouldn’t be where I am now, nor would I be the man I am today. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you Vanessa. Thank you for creating such an unforgettable and remarkable comic series. You’ll always have my adoration and support. May Pleasure Bon Bon continue to grow and thrive, and may you continue to live happily and prosper.
