News about my Cintiq

I've talked on the phone with a Wacom technician about my problem. He was very kind and helpful, we did all the tests.
The display is broken. Unfortunately my warranty has expired so there are 2 options: sending to the service center in Germany at my expense is the first step, so the cost to change the display is 800 euros ... (hahahaha! NO) but if it doesn't work, Wacom will dispose of my Cintiq because according to the law it must be disposed of in a specialized center.
Or I can give up and spend the same amount on a NEW product and sell the parts on ebay, like the stand, the pen with all the spare nib, and propose the "broken" Cintiq monitor to get some spare parts ... and I could earn about 300 euros with a little luck (luck! I need it please!) to amortize the cost of the new device.
I am going to choose what I will buy soon, because I have to buy something ... I have no tools but a mouse.
I'll keep you updated and when I receive the new product I'll show you :)

O_O No wonder why most sites say don't repair the tablet. @_@ I thought they were exaggerating with the cost.....but I guess they weren't kidding. :( Yea I think you have a better chance of buying a new tablet and selling your broken tablet for parts. I actually work on eBay for my companies store page. :o I'll send you an email with the sold prices (from today to last year) that your tablet model sold "For Parts", with the sold prices for used stands and pens for your tablet model too. :) Thank you for responding to all of our comments and messages, Vanessa! <3
