It was right to make this change in the dialogues.
The first draft of PBB Legacy was very hasty, I had not time to build the plot of the first 3 chapters together, in which then we understand that there are no voyeurs (in Mary's garden) or even rapists in Bon Bon ... so no one would be entered from the window!
But since during the job interview Simon tells William that Mary had tried to escape from the window, now it's all more logical and consistent!
Simon does not close Mary at home for fear of nasty boys but for fear that she will try to escape :D
And of course he is exaggerating to scare her! Maybe Simon is really afraid that Mary might get lost in the woods, fall off a cliff, be hit by a thunderbolt or die just by falling out of the window...
I hope you will notice that every detail of the room, from locks to objects, lights and shadows, is very studied. I personally created the patterns and customized the textures, it took me a whole day to choose the color combinations XD . Now I can become an interior decorator LOL !

I like how you've set up Mary's oppression and the heat of the setting that will encourage her to disrobe. Thus you have an atmosphere of foreboding, but also of an erotic thrill as she sheds her nightgown before finding release at her own hands moaning for a man's touch.

I mean, I know she was big in the original comic, but it's a lot more noticeable this time around. Also love the subtle little nipple perks you can see through her top in the last panel. Non-perverted observation: Her expression in the last panel looks fantastic. It really gives a "oh, shit" impression. Her face speaks volumes. The attention to detail to the room looks incredible. All the hard work spent researching and planning the layout of the room looks to be paying off. I'm glad that you're enjoying being able to redo these things, without pressure of a deadline or unnecessary expectations you don't really want to do. Now, if you'll excuse me... I have some more, ahem, staring to do. :3

What Simon is doing does make sense, he's keeping Mary inside to protect her from both the world outside and from herself. But at the same time, i feel really bad for Mary, being kept cooped up inside her own home with little to no interactions with the outside world or people outside of her father. I know i wouldn't do that to her if it were me. I could never say no to that cute and sweet feline face. XD
