Comparisons between PBB Legacy and PBB-Next

Patrons with the highest commitment will see it complete soon, but I wanted to give a taste of it to others (more comparisions in the attachments)!
I had forgotten that Simon didn't have hair behind his head in the first pages, ahah! XD
As I have always written this is not a competition between first and second version, I love them both, but now that I have matured my hand ... it is no longer the same of the past and never will be again.
In fact I look at those lines drawn with a nib and I wonder how I did it ... HOW!! :O
They were dirty but fascinated, beautiful, and I can no longer use the nib with this familiarity.
So PBB of the future would have been different anyway.
It would have appeared made by two different artists, now I can make it all with the same homogeneous style, from now on.
But I love them both.
In the future I'd like to give the original pages of PBB Legacy into a pledge.
Keep in mind that they are unique, with the unrepeatable style LOL, and the only originals still drawn by hand. I abandoned the pages inked in traditional for a few years, so apart from those there will be no others! Ah, and of course they are also vintage now XD !
But before I put the pages in a pledge I want to give ONE as a reward for free!
I'm meditating, from the previous post, to make a very nice giveaway to celebrate the first goal that is close: 1000 USD per month.
Yes, let me think better about and in May I will change the reward of that goal with a lottery giveaway and I am pretty sure that this special occasion deserves that I give away a precious reward, at least an original PBB Legacy page ( realize that for me it's like giving away a child ahah!), plus other things ...

But in the past I saw that Sachimi Chan was giving away tablets (which cost hundreds of dollars), and it was a lottery. I saw this shared on FB a couple of years ago, maybe now the rules have changed? But it seems an exaggeration to consider gambling receiving a drawing at home, with a "lottery" between ALL the Patrons. Does Patrons have a ban on any kind of giveaways ?

Quando mi viene richiesto privatamente lo vendo e lo spedisco per posta. Mi è costato molto, usai le mie borse di studio per pagare la tipografia, ma all'epoca era l'unico modo per vedermi publicata, ero ambiziosa e testarda :) E Simon Blue è l'antenato del papà di Dillinger! Se un giorno sarai interessato ad acquistarlo ( è in italiano) fammi sapere e ti invierò le 4 copie direttamente a caa ( in Italia spedisco tranquillamente! L'ho spedito anche in America con annesse traduzioni su CD ) :) E' in bianco e nero con i retini per manga, non digitali...quelli veri incollati uno ad uno XD

2019-04-29 08:39:47 +0000 UTCWOOOT! :D Congrats on inking page 15, Vanessa. ^-^ About the comparisons, I like looking at the comparison pictures because it's like looking at the evolution of your art style. :3 For instance, the way that Mary & Simon are drawn in the legacy chapters have more of a western style to them (like you would see in a Marvel or DC comic). :) While the PBB-Next versions of Mary and Simon are drawn like they came out of a Manga/Manhwa/Manhua. ^_^ I can understand your love for both versions, Vanessa. ^w^ About the giveaway, I really do love the idea. <3 However if what Silvador said is true, and that they might consider this giveaway as "gambling" then I wouldn't do it (to avoid getting on Patreon's bad side). :( However I do have an alternative. :o Maybe create a new tier (maybe a $30-$60 tier). Anybody in this new Tier will get a piece of one of your hand drawings (that you want to give to your patreons). :D I suggest the new tier because it'll make sure to slim down the number of people that'll get a doodle/sketch (and it'll save you on shipping in the long run), and Patreon won't consider anything bad about it since you're giving your drawings to patreons in that tier. ^o^ Again, that's just one of my crazy ideas. xD What ever action you decide to do, I'll be for it, Vanessa. :)
