My Patreon has long known that the first version of this artwork was a little different. I had tried to design Mary's red dress for an experiment, but after a long time I decided to get her the blue skirt back. The new version with the red skirt will still be used for a different project, for the video game, because it works better in pixel art so it wasn't a wasted job. Ups ... I didn't tell you anything. It's too early to talk about that!
And then I forgot her earrings!
And it's time for me to tell you a curiosity ... Mary's dress ( with the blue skirt ) is my homage to a Barbie that I wished to have in the 90s called English Barbie XD.
I really wanted it, but my mother has not buy it because she said me I was too old ( in 1992 I was 15...) for Barbie, she not realizing that it was a collector's item... I didn't want to play with it, I wanted to expose it.
I was so impressed that I remembered the dress for years and so Mary wears one very close to it.

OoO Was that a European exclusive Barbie? o.O Also I enjoy both versions of Mary's outfit. ^-^ I also didn't know she wore earings. :O The more you know, am I right? ;) Also, I just notice (just like Grey said) that she's younger in this version. o////o I think your reasoning makes perfect sense, Vanessa (on why she and the other characters are younger). :) Though man...I'm so happy to know that they survived both parts of The Great War. :D

Both because in 1800 people are maturing earlier, and because in 1948 ( the time when the parallel story takes place) they can still be alive, elderly but not too much. Mary cannot remain a spinster up to 20 years and William has recently left school ... I remind everyone that the first world war will break out in 1914, just 19 years after the events narrated in PBB (year 1895) and then there will be the second world war. Also for this reason it is called Pleasure Bon Bon-Next! That's why I wanted the Bon Bon characters to be young enough ... to make them tell things, what it happened later. In the old website R. asked me that they were older so as not to have problems with CCBILL in terms of minors...

I know european history and in general for the story you're crafting I don't really have that much of a problem with Mary's age, though I'm more intrigued if this'll change the narrative somewhat.

It's in progress, but I don't want to reveal the drawings and graphics yet, otherwise it will be lost in a sea of updates on the running comic. It is not yet the mature time to include this project in the rewards because it would be too soon, there would be the risk of wasting it. But all you need to know is that many graphics and walking tests have been done, and will be a video game with characters from the humanized PBB universe :)

As much as i love Mary's all blue skirt, i gotta admit, her red skirt looks just as good. Also, by video game, are you referring to the old one that was previously in the works? or is there a new one that is currently being planned?
