I'm back!

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I was at the Romics (Rome / Comics), the Italian comicon, and I made a video report for you Patrons !

And ... this time I managed to talk worse than in the Christmas video! Hahaha!

The fundamental reasons are that I was too excited to speak in public and without a script, without a minimum of preparation and then the Comicon are chaotic and I was very busy at my friend's stand so I could visit the fair for a few moments.

So...all was really too fast to prepare something and remembering well my poor english XD.

But do you know what I tell you? It does not matter.

I don't care if you laugh, on the contrary, I want it to be funny, because the important thing is to have fun.

If I stopped to think "oh no ... I'm not able ... I'll make a bad impression ... they'll tease me ... I talking a ridiculus english..." I wouldn't do anything in my life.

I must at least show that I have courage and do things. Now, give me some days to do the editing, between my other tasks, because I used two media: an action cam and my phone, so I have to mount different parts.

But I hope you will enjoy and appreciate my little reward. It's a warm-up, if you like it I'll make more videos, and I'll try to be more near with you, because it's important to know the artist to whom you are giving your support to help her realize her project.

Trust is needed, change of approach is needed  :)

I also have another nice new for you, I will tell you it in the next post!

Wow! OoO That's really cool that you're able to understand those girls in that Mexican Facebook group (with knowing very little Spanish)! :D In my book, as long as you're a woman, you have the right to be called a "girl". ^-^ I actually remember reading that Italian and Spanish (as well as other European Languages like French) can be loosely understood across the board by the native speakers, because they're all a decedent of the Latin language. :o I hope I made sense here. lol ^_^; With that being said, I'm pretty sure you'd be like an American and understanding a big of Spanish from the Mexicans. xD And that also explains how you're able to understand those Spanish speaking tutorials too. :) Yea Brazilian is based off of Portuguese, which I call Spanish in reverse. lol (No offense to Portuguese Speakers. @_@) Because they share a majority of the same words as is seen in Spanish, but they all have different rules. :o Oh I will enjoy the video, Vanessa! ^o^ I can't wait! X3

Hola Kanbe! XD Well I am a member of a Mexican group on Facebook where we talk about fashion, traditions and memories in the 90s, we are all "girls" ( although I am at least a decade older to be a "girl" ... XD ) and I have never studied a single word of Spanish ... but I understand what they write and they say because Spanish is similar to Italian, in fact if I went to live in California I could understand Mexicans like Americans at the moment XD . I know a few words without knowing how I learned them LOL But I don't understand Brazilian because it's totally different from Spanish. Sometimes I watch tutorials in Spanish on youtube and I understand about 70% of what they say. And I don't know how I do it! LOL It is similar to Italian, but more pronouncing than writing. Just after the new page of PBB I will work on editing the video! I hope you will enjoy it! :D

Thank you! Today I had my first english lesson with my teacher at the english school and I talked with her for an hour and a half in English. She said that I can understand and I can talk but I have embarrassment and reasoning blocks because I have to learn some grammatical rules like the difference between the simple past and the present perfect. I have to learn to manage the rules of verbs. But she said I am at an advanced level :D ... I don't believe it, I hope it's really just a matter of shyness! ^_^

Thank you! You are right :) And if necessary I will add some subtitles XD

Welcome back, Vanessa. :D You know...I’m going to be giggling a lot when I watch that video. Lol But not because of what you think, Vanessa. :o I’m going to be giggling so much because hearing you talk (and being so happy) is going to be so amazing. X3 And I have a feeling that everyone of your patreons are going to be happy as well watching your video! ^o^ It’s just going to be great seeing you talk and having you show us a little bit of what Romics looks like! ^w^ Not to mention, I’m envious that you can speak in both Italian and in English, Vanessa. :O I can’t even speak simple Spanish. @-@ Again, I’m very excited to see this video because hearing you talk is one of the most amazing things ever (and I have a feeling that a lot of your patreons would agree as well). :3 Plus it’s going to be awesome to see more narrating videos from you in the future, Vanessa! ^-^

It might have been difficult, but I think doing something without a script is better practice as it forces the brain to think about what is next to be said. The best way to learn a language is to engage with someone, and when you have a conversation, you don't read from a script. Unscripted videos might be one-sided conversations, but they still provide the same sort of "forced thinking" that the brain requires to work its way through an unfamiliar language. Keep at it and you'll only improve. :D

I'm so glad that you have nothing but confidence and optimism when it comes to taking on your different challenges and gradually overcoming them. So encouraging and inspiring. You are absolutely right, one of the best ways to overcome the major obstacles in our lives, is to do so with optimism, confidence, and the determination to see things through. That's the mark of a winner in my book.
