Little things to tell you

Friday, April 5 I will go to ROMICS , the Italian comicon in Rome:

https://www.romics.it/

but not as a visitor. A friend of mine, Francesca, asked me to be his partner in his booth, as a salesman, as a favor because she is alone that day.

I will go early in the morning, I will have the exhibitor pass.

I do her this favor because you have given me so many, she always helps me in other things.

You don't know that for many years, in the past from 1999 to 2007, I was a buyer and seller attending at some comicon in Italy. I had my booth. I didn't sell comics but original gadgets, I had a merchant account. So I'm very experienced.

It will be fun to relive this experience.

And if I can ... I would like but I promise nothing ... I will make a video to show you the italian comicon in which I speak you in English...I hope!

Romics Comicon is smaller than the american ones of New York and San Diego, but is that we have...

My English course starts on April 8th and will last 3 months, twice a week, so this video will be a warm-up ... I cannot assure you that I will speak well, I will improvise and I will surely fail ahahah! ...

When I begin the English course I hope to improve, maybe one day I will take you there too, so you will see my route, the streets of Rome and the public transport (because I have no car unfortunately) . They are very decay and I don't like them at all ... they are full of pickpockets and I'm always afraid of dying because they often collide or explode or catch fire. I swear to you...

Last year 3 buses in Rome were burned on street during the travel and a metro crashed. In another the escalator broke some months ago and almost killed a group of football fans.

When it rains the metro in Rome is full of floods. So you can also drown.

For me is strange to say the normal...because now I realized that it is absurd so tell you that... but it is absurd but true!

10 months ago in Rome: https://www.google.it/search?q=autobus+in+fiamme+a+roma&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj_guCKmKrhAhWF26QKHSRvD4YQ_AUIDygC&biw=1920&bih=966

So...I am a bit scared to take public transport in Rome.

I hope to make this video at the comicon that will surely be more interesting and fun! XD

I hope I can do it!

See you soon with the new colored page!

PS. Speaking of Italy I am listening this song of Umberto Tozzi right now during my coloring work:

I'm very happy to have read your message, it's really precious when an old fan shows up and tells me these beautiful words of support! But I have always feared that I was not very active with my fans in the past for many reasons, I didn't speak English well so I was not able to use social media and I never chatted with them, and I have many accumulated pm on FA and DA because I didn't have time to read them and translate them. But above all for reasons of time and because I was chained to a situation with the old site. My old partner was my only point of reference and he, I assure you, he knows nothing about the furry fandom and how to behave with the fans, he knows nothing about this world, so he didn't teach me to do what needed to be done . I believe I've missed so many opportunities. He promised me to attend the Comicon in San Diego and publish on paper and live a life as a common comic artist. But in the end, in Italy I did these things myself, because he always kept me hanging at this promise. So I started to show PBB in Italy to some adult magazine, tired to wait, and an Italian comic magazine, very famous called BLUE ( like Mary Blue!) published PBB, number 1!!! And they paid me the royaltiss! I have all the numbers here with me so I can show you, they published 4 pages of PBB per magazine, came out in color, and there was an article about me as a new cool furry author! The called me THE FIRST ITALIAN FURRY ARTIST :D ! I was SO HAPPY! It was distributed and sold on newsstands in all my country and it was beautiful ! It It could have been my springboard! But Ronald one day denied me the consent to publish PBBs on paper in my country after Issue #1 anymore. STOP NOW VANESSA. He had no right to do it, no contract, no good reasons, but he did it by blackmailing me. Telling me that both he and the other authors who worked with him were angry that I was publishing PBB in my country, translated into Italian, and that I could take royaltiess... like I was a thief of myself... and so I had to go to my publisher and quit my job. My publisher is called Mr Francesco Coniglio ( Coniglio it means Rabbit in italy) here: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coniglio_Editore He didn't believe his ears. I am the first comic artist who has been forced to quit because in America a guy I had never even seen before forced me otherwise he wouldn't let me work or given the site money just because " because... the other authors are envious and angry and they boring me , so stop now to publish in italy your work." . I call IT mafia. Coniglio was really sad to hear that, and incredulous because he wanted me to work. I had also sent Ronald ( at my expense) a package with all the numbers of the magazine BLUE because he wanted to see them. I curse myself for doing it. I should have kept those copies for myself, I only have one per number now. I will show you this magazine. So summing up my unfortunate story I happened to work with a person who manipulated me for years preventing me from having any kind of freedom and being master of my work and taught me only things that were convenient to him. I know it's late but now I want to recover and rebuild my life and I think I'm showing it on Patreon who I really am. I know there are rumors, fictional stories about me that made me unpleasant to some furries without me ever saying a word around. In truth there are no my statements anywhere! I have only been speaking here for a couple of years, and I hope that with the tests and the facts I will also be able to recover my fans and my reputation. And you know what? Now if I'm lucky again to find a new publisher there will be no one to stop me from publishing PBB-Next! Thanks to Patreon, to my patrons and you! I definitely want to show you a video of the Comicon Romics ( and I'll look for some European comics to show you ;) ). Vanessa

That sounds awesome, have a good and safe trip and good luck at you and partner's panel.

That sounds like a lot of fun to go to Romics, Vanessa. :D Even if it's not as big as the ComicCons in New York or California, that doesn't change the fact that it'll be a lot of fun for you and your friend. ^-^ A video of the con would be cool to see, Vanessa. :) And even if you don't speak in English and just speak Italian, hearing your voice will be amazing for me and all of your other patreons. ^w^ Oh man, that's coming up so soon (your class I mean). OoO I guess time flies. ^_^; Still it's going to be awesome for you to take your English classes, Vanessa. :3 Dang! O_O ....Yea if those accidents occurred a lot where I lived (as well as not being able to own a decent automobile), I'd probably just walk to places myself as well, Vanessa. @_@ Anyways, I hope you and your friend have fun at Romics, Vanessa! (✿◠‿◠) Also, that song that you linked was REALLY good! :O It gave me a flashback of listening to a bunch of 80's synth-pop songs I used to listen to in my parent's car when I was really young. :)

That's wonderful to hear. Here's hoping your trip will be a safe and enjoyable one.

Hello Vanessa; long time fan, first time messaging here. I admit I haven't supported your work before now so am glad to be finally rectifying that. While it's been some years since I last enjoyed your art, I still remember how much you kept in touch with your close community back in the day and now you have a new one it's great to see things haven't changed in that regard. It's not just all about boobs is it! Boobs are fun though, don't get me wrong... ;) It would be great to have a video of the event! I've always had a soft spot for European comics but don't know that much about them. I'm familiar with some of the famous artists and being British I'm aware of some French ones too. You don't get many of their works translated into English though, sadly. Italy is certainly going through a rough patch at the moment. I heard about some bridges collapsing? Hopefully the mafia aren't involved with these other problems you mention too. Stay safe and best wishes with your course and the event! Thanks for letting us know about it.
