Second version and last update!
Added 2019-02-10 17:13:16 +0000 UTCWith this second version of Miss Vanessa Io ( which is no longer my avatar but a new official character in the series, which we will see acting in chapter # 1 of PBB-Next! :D) we close the project of the pinups in cosplay of the Sonic Universe female characters!
This is the version without make up ;)
I've enjoyed it so much drawing this project because I always wanted to draw some fan art of the girls of Sonic world, because they are so cute and adorable!
I have a passion for unconventional anthropomorphic characters, I mean that do not resemble many species of animals, they have improbable and impossible colors like pink, blue, purple... and a lot of artistic license in the interpretation XD
Cuz to be honest ... do you think Sonic looks like a hedgehog? AHAH! For me yes :D, because I live with the mind in the fantasy world and I accept everything! XD
And you know that I do not drawing realistic furry because Violet is a purple raccoon and mary a blue cat and my style is directed towards a cartoonish design ;)
So mash-up my characters with those of Sonic was one of my fantasies, and I really like the result because, I think, I chosen well the combinations ^_^

2019-02-14 16:11:48 +0000 UTCFor some reason I'm locked out of the option to download Sally Vanessa with Sally colours 150 dpi and X-Ray, despite having $19 on pledge, is this a bug, because both of non Sally colours 150p are still accessable?

2019-02-14 06:29:22 +0000 UTCLike Silvador and Todoxas, I love seeing the creativity people put into making their characters, Vanessa. ^_^ Even if they're exaggerating the origin of the character's race. :) Lets face it, why do cartoon, anime, video game, manga/comic book characters look so....different? I like to think it's to make them unique. ^-^ It's part of the fantasy of making characters. :D Example, have you ever notice that the school kids in anime have wonky hair styles and uniforms? o.o Why do the artists/creators do that? I like to think it's because the artists want to make a world where that would be the norm to have long, blue-ish hair, while wearing a bad-ass school uniform. XD While I do think there is a place for realistic art styles, I do also believe there's a place for the fantasy type of art style too (like you're Vanessa). ^o^ Anyways~ I LOVE the non-make up version of Miss Io in Sally Acorn's outfit. :DDDD She looks so beautiful~ ^w^ Great job, Vanessa! :3 These pictures of your girls cosplaying as girls from Sonic was fantastic! (✿◠‿◠) I also loved the mini bonbons too, Vanessa! ≧◡≦ The history of designing the old PBB comics was so interesting. :O And that one of you when you were 18 years old....Vanessa, are you sure you're not a goddess, vampire, or a mythical being? o.O Because it looks like you haven't aged a BIT in the past 24 years. OoO As always, I can't wait for the new page and for the Valentine day picture, Vanessa. :D

2019-02-11 04:37:09 +0000 UTCI myself also enjoy the more fantastical side of art, creating characters and worlds that would not exist in this plane of reality. I also enjoy a bit of the weird and the silly, making characters who can alter their physical shape and do lots of other toony things. These kinds of things tend to be vastly more fun to work on cause it allows me to truly express myself creatively. Another thing i deeply enjoy, is creating pieces of art that revolves around crossovers. Whether it's seeing how my own character's would look if they visited the universe of a certain show or movie i like, or bringing tons of my personal favorite characters together, crossovers are simply badass. Speaking of which, i wouldn't mind seeing what kind of crossover PBBN would have with another media universe. I know of one that i myself might explore on a design level, that would be, Pleasure Bon Bon if it crossed over into the Kingdom Hearts universe. I think that would be cool to see. But, i'll stop fan-boying here and just say, great work as always Vanessa keep on being the awesome and talented person that you are. ^^

2019-02-10 21:39:20 +0000 UTCI quite enjoy the "unrealistic" aspect; it's a wonderful and exciting thing to explore, getting to see all the beautiful and stunning designs that you wouldn't otherwise see from a realistically designed character. The creativity and artistic inspiration that goes into less realistic characters is nothing short of a roller coaster ride leading to some of the best (and worst XD) character designs I've ever seen; it allows a person the liberty to delve into an entire universe of possibilities and gives their artistic creativity the chance to flourish.
