2022-08-21 00:03:44 +0000 UTCIf you want show recommendations if you have seen the movie tangled then you’ll love the series for it, it has 3 seasons and each around 20 so episodes with the pilot being a 40 minute special, it doesn’t get a lot of attention because it’s a “Disney Princess show” but trust me it’s actually really well done for a spin-off and it actually doesn’t stray from the events of the movie and does a lot of world building and character development, easily makes it a top recommendation

They were married for 42 hours and she married him just so she could steal his car and stuff. In Yesterday's Lie, we hear that Marilyn is the name Eda used in the human realm Btw, I recomend She-Ra for another show to watch, but it'd also be cool to see you guys react to Blue Exorcist! There's a cat named Kuro in it, lmao. Also, The Devil Is A Part Timer is another really good anime! They're both action comedies

Also, I don’t think King’s dad was stronger than the collector, otherwise he probably would have killed him. Recommendation Star vs. The powers of evil.

2022-08-20 01:12:53 +0000 UTCOh you missed a very small detail at the end of the credits (before it went to black) - if you look closely you will see a bit of the Belos goop fall onto the doorknob and the door closes. And yeah, Belos didn't say "Kill him", he said "Caleb". As for show recommendations: She-Ra, Infinity Train (though it's being treated like it never existed by HBO + Cartoon Network and so soon the only way to watch it is going to be through pirating it), and Ducktales 2017 are all great.

Side not, love all your speculations, but I think you guys were missing something with the "medallion--" it isn't something his dad gave him. That's just a dog collar, Eda says she got it from him because she thought he was essentially a stray dog at first. King himself ends up scratching the little symbol in it at the end of Echoes of the Past, to carve a reminder of his dad on a gift from his mom, since the symbol was all over the palace. You have to remember that King was never supposed to leave his palace, he even had a guard preventing that from happening-- I truly think that King's dad just went "I'm gonna die, so I'll make sure to do what I can to hide my baby," and that included placing sigils around the castle. I really don't think he has any powers being suppressed by it, I genuinely think that the idea is literally just that King's a baby, and that the majority of the skulls the Titan Trappers had were of babies too, some of them just had different/longer horn shapes for a more interesting visual design. He'll grow eventually, but not for a while, possibly centuries, and the new powers he's found are just because he's growing up a little, Hooty even mentioned demon puberty at one point.

Completely out of touch Discovery CEO David Zaslav is axing a bunch of content, including most HBO, Adult Swim, and Cartoon Network content. It's not simple cancellations, but the outright purging of entire catalogues of high quality content from every platform and media formats. Thank god for Japan and anime. The way American networks treat animated shows and their creators is just sadistic.

But the symbol was found in the 'castle' he grew up in, so yeah, you could say his dad is the one who created it originally.

2022-08-19 22:15:10 +0000 UTCSeveral things for these episodes guys: 1.- The fact that Luz and Hunter changed places in the episode Clouds on the Horizon can be noticed beforehand by the fact that "Luz" suddenly uses Hunter's signature yellow dash, while "Hunter" randomly makes fun of the Abomiton when he was never characterized that way. 2.- Belos has already shown his face to the population of the Boiling Isles before, he specifically did it at the end of the episode "Follies at the Coven Day Parade". 3.- this is one of the cases where you can't trust subtitles... In the scene where Phillip looks at Hunter's Palisman (Flapjack) and suddenly gets really angry the subtitles say "Kill Him" when in actuality he said "Caleb" (confirmed by Dana Terrace) which is likely the name of Philip's Brother (you can deduce Philip's backstory by paying close attention to the portraits in the episode Hollow Mind). 4.- Gus knows about Human Rain cuz he was the President of the Human Appreciation club at Hexside (and also because Luz probably told him about it), this has been established since season 1. 5.- King have had that collar since the beginning of the show, HOWEVER the specific symbol that is now on it wasn't there always, remember that he carved it himself on the island he was born in the episode "Echoes of the Past".

This was mentioned in an in character commentary of the episode land before swine in the Gravity falls Box dvd set. Stan talks about being married to a woman named Marilyn for less than a day while in Vegas. Marilyn just wanted to rob him. Stan's description of her matches Eda and in the Owl House episode Yesterday's Lie we see a poster of Eda being banned from the cafe and her fake name WAS Marilyn. SO ya cool stuff.
