Yea there are quite a few misconceptions going on right now. Hinokami Kagura IS sun breathing, flame breathing isn't a thing, there aren't only 3 fire breathing forms (that's how many chapters there were in the books). We've seen Kyojuro use the 9th form.

2022-01-16 00:38:48 +0000 UTCYeah. To reiterate, "Hi" in Japanese can mean both fire and sun. Like Hinata from Haikyuu as an example. So the exact meaning of the word is somewhat ambiguous. However, the origins of Hinokami Kagura clearly means "Sun/Fire God Dance".
