About your question. I remember that I read some discussion in reddit about if this was the last season. There are about 160 chapters left to adapt and it is confirmed that season 3 will have 2 parts ( second part is on January 2026) we don't know how many episodes will be, but I don't think it will be more than 26 episodes total. This means that if this one is the last season, they will need to cut a lot of material.
