I was as well, but Studio Mappa has a good reputation of producing quality work, they even made sure by hiring the same directors for animations and story direct Wit Studio hired for the previous seasons as well as the OST composer. I’ll bet my money that Mappa has the determination to make this right compare to Wit studio who stated that they are out of budget and manpower to continue Attack on Titan.

2020-06-11 14:35:13 +0000 UTCmy guess, with the aged Eren, would be that **spoiler for people who haven't caught up to the new season yet** that part of the story might take place when Eren's time is running out, so we may have a) their fight vs the more modern/ technically more advanced humans and b) race against time to get enough done before his titan-powers kill him (maybe even him looking for a successor?)

2020-06-11 13:35:04 +0000 UTCI am kind of worried about the studio change because I know Wit Studio worked wonders with Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga. I haven't watched any anime Mappa has produced. Character designs are closer to manga now but I think that won't bother anime-only fans because there will be a time skip anyway.
