2025-08-09 20:46:03 +0000 UTCI'm glad that Dexter immediately turned on Mia upon discovering that she kills innocents. I was worried the writers would take the Hannah McKay route by having Dexter hook up with and fall for a codeless killer, despite being against everything he believes. Also, that conversation between Dexter and Harrison at the end was top tier. Dexter has never opened up about Rita's death like that with anyone, so this was cathartic for both his character and the audience.

I thought it would be fun for Dexter to meet someone who also has a code and for them to take down serial killers together. But I'm actually glad they did what they did here. People were speculating that Dexter would frame Mia and I'm glad he did.
