I am a big Transformers fan, and I was fine with someone else voicing him. Oddly enough, he has not voiced everything the character has done. Other than the films and games, he didn't voice Prime at all between 1986 and 2007. We had a few shows that featured Prime he did not voice. At this age, unless he opts to go the route of allowing them to clone and use AI of his voice as James Earl Jones did for Vader, so Vader will forever be voiced by him. I'm okay with them recasting his voice. I think for Prime, it's not a massive deal because other people have voiced the character, whereas Vader, only one person has ever voiced him.
