Whereas the police are more direct, and besides, they are police officers—they took an oath and are supposed to be on the side of the law.

2025-03-20 15:38:04 +0000 UTCSo this was fun lol. I enjoy seeing you guys dig into the moral philosophy of Super Heroes and vigilantism a bit. It's interesting. This is why I like Super Heroes/Antiheroes as character studies and parables to an extent but not as an exact blueprint for how to live one's actual life. Batman, Daredevil, and Punisher are all interesting characters in their own ways but often their vigilantism does as much harm as good. Also at this point you might want to just watch Punisher on your own time rather than risk it continuing to lose polls. 😂
