If Matt’s up for it, I highly recommend watching the Green With Evil saga—it’s just five episodes. Back in the day, those five weeks were some of the most intense and stressful moments as a kid watching it live!

We don't see any Ranger or Zord action until the end of the final act, which didn’t sit well with many fans. The suits looked great, and I personally liked the Zords. The toys, though, were a mess. The combining Megazord was poorly designed, likely because the film didn’t break it into visible Zords (I noticed how, in the film, once they combine, the Dino parts are gone). The morpher toy was another issue—it was on their belts but never used (like in the show), rumored to have been cut early on in filming. Since toys are made months in advance, they suffered from these last-minute changes. Fun fact: Rita’s shock at the Megazord was because no Ranger team had ever formed one—it required an unbreakable bond. This was cut from the film but is in the novel. Also, Rita was the Green Ranger in this version. She had the Green Power Coin in her staff. In the show, she had the coin and used it on Tommy. Tommy was evil at first.
