It’s quite good but different from the film. It’s less about the spy stuff and more of a backdrop for different phases of a romantic relationship between two strangers.

At the time there was a bit of a scandal because Brad Pitt was dating Jennifer Anniston while Brad and Angelina filmed this movie and he fell in love with Angelina who was dating people like Billy Bob Thorton and would carry small vials of each other's blood if you can believe that. Everyone seemed to feel sorry for Jennifer who was America's golden girl, while Angelina was the sexy bad girl but it made for terrific chemistry in the movie.
