2024-11-29 03:53:41 +0000 UTCI can’t, nor do I want to imagine that. This art style is so unique and captivating, it became a vital part of this show’s identity. And vice versa, the animation style is often associated with Arcane. And stretching $250 million across 6 hours of animation is actually pretty difficult, compared to other projects, it’s on the lower end.

Also, this show just gets better and better, all the way to season 2, and breaks new records with the animation and narrative styles they go through.

2024-11-15 21:23:53 +0000 UTCYou said in your intro here Holden that when you're putting the edited version on YouTube the Patreon -should- have episodes 1 through 4, another thing you might want to be aware of is that this show is released in 3 part arcs. So episodes 1-3 were released 1 week, the following week was 4-6, and a week after that 7-9. They're following that same formula for Season 2 now as well.

2024-11-15 19:00:01 +0000 UTCBeen waiting years for this, you guys are not ready for this masterpiece. I was concerned S2 couldn't keep up the quality in storytelling and visuals but so far it has. You dont need to know anything about LoL to follow this show, knowledge of the game only really lets you recognize names and places and a few hidden in the background easter eggs. Looking forward to Episode 2.

2024-11-15 18:05:51 +0000 UTCClone Wars initially tried to create the impression of a stop motion look in the design and texture of the characters, and with Rebels they moved to a look that was more like painting. Arcane definitely perfects that approach to animation. I'd recommend checking out Corridor Crew's "Animators react to ARCANE" video (which has spoilers), and consider taking a look at other Riot animation projects (primarily music videos).

This show is very much one of those two sides to every story type of show (I love shows like that. Its one of the reasons Cobra Kai is my favorite show). Let me just say, I already know who Jen's favorite character is going to be and he hasn't been introduced yet. I'm glad this show is only 2 seasons long because Netflix loves to drag out other shows and some don't always end well.

One thing I will suggest - once you get through the first season and before you start the second season, you should react to several of the League of Legends cinematics and music videos! Key ones are “Get Jinxed”, “Warriors” and “Enemy”. It’s important to watch after you’re finished with the first season to deepen the story for you. I’m so glad you’ve started Arcane. Be ready for so many By-Gon-Jim moments!!!
