Excluding the very recent low driven shot, just in terms of "plays"
If you're looking for the easiest ways to score in FC 25, I've got two methods that work incredibly well right now. One is from outside the box, and the other is inside. These aren’t the absolute best methods in the game, but they require the least effort while still being super effective.
The first method is the finesse shot. If my main attack doesn’t work, I always have this as a backup option outside the box. As soon as I see an offside trap triggered or the defense is packed, I just rotate the ball and look for that perfect finesse shot opportunity.
Timing is everything. If I take a finesse shot with about three bars of power and green time it, it’s almost guaranteed to go in. Opponents often expect me to pass, which makes this even deadlier. Once they start stepping up to block the finesse, that’s when I punish them with a through ball instead.
A key thing to note—finishing stats only matter inside the box. For finesse shots outside the box, I focus on players with high long shots, shot power, and curve. Someone like Son is ideal because of his finesse shot playstyle, which makes these attempts much more effective.
The second method is all about quick passing inside the box. I keep it simple: one-two passes and L1 triggers to create space. Opponents struggle to react when I constantly rotate between finesse shots and quick passing, forcing them into tough defensive decisions. If they step up, I play a quick pass. If they sit back, I take the finesse shot.
This approach works at the highest level. Even pro players struggle against it because they have to choose between pressing or covering the through ball. If you mix these two techniques, scoring becomes effortless.
