Ok, so there is a reason why Wall-E has emotions. WALL·E is pretty much this film’s version of R2-D2 and just like R2-D2, Wall-E never had his memories wiped, so he has an entire lifetime’s supply of memories which let him develop a personality which let him develop emotions.
