We received a copyright strike for when my wife and I watched Fast X for the first time. I'm probably one of the most cautious and "rule-following" reactors on the platform, so I take these things very seriously, especially since this is how I provide for my family.
It's also why I don't display full movies during full reactions because it's illegal and outside the purview of fair use, despite some Patrons being upset about that because other creators apparently do so.
I've reached out to a YouTube contact, so hopefully I'll hear from them. One of the most frustrating things about the copyright system in general is that we often don't know what the issue specifically is. Are the clips too long, are we showing too much percentage of the overall movie, why is it that after months of the video being public is this now being claimed, etc.?
We'll keep you posted, and hopefully we can get answers, and get it resolved.
