I hate Dave Falonis writing he writes things to be cool but they are so stupid. Thrawn a tactician... Ezra is a potential threat If he had killed Ezra, non of what happened in episode 7 would have happened. He would have killed Sabine because Ezra is dead and thus he'd be "reuniting them" and then Ahsoka would be ridiculously outnumbered. Instead we get Rebels in live action, 0 stakes and incompetent villains who act smarter than they are

2023-09-28 12:28:20 +0000 UTCI thought it was pretty obvious that thrawn knew where Ezra was the entire time. They were both stuck there and Ezra was not a threat to him so there was no point of killing him. Only interested in now so he can distract Sabine and the mercenaries.

However its horribly written, Thrawn could have used the Witches to find Ezra this whole time, also this doesn't delay them Thrawn... they have a starship 🤦♂️ but they are gonna make it so they almost stop him and he somehow gets away... He could have killed Sabine, used the Witches or the dogs to find Ezra, bombed him with your star destroyer and then used the Dark Jedi to kill Ahsoka... This show is very flawed, I think people are getting caught up in seeing things in live action they are ignoring how poor the writing is
