Another update
Added 2023-09-16 01:01:33 +0000 UTCHero was discharged this afternoon. I was with him at the hospital all night where he kept waking up every 2 to 3 hours struggling to breathe.
He's doing better now, but not fully himself. Ironically, right as Hero and I got home, I took Jen back into the ER which is where we're at now. They're talking about keeping her for 24 hour observation for her kidney infection. She's in quite a bit of pain, vomiting, and severely dehydrated. I'm struggling with sleep deprivation, Jen is pretty miserable, and we've enlisted Matt to keep an eye on Hero at our house while I'm taking care of her.
I've been checking in pretty frequently, but it seems Hero's breathing is getting better. This has probably been one of the biggest "when it rains it pours" weeks we've had.
Will keep you all updated with any changes!
