Yeh man. Set to Manual works well enough for me. But I do think it's one or the other.. or you are a tad late with airballs vs ai.. or your cdm stops running into position that fast while you switch to LB..

I am facing the same problem- trying to control only CDM; but auto switch changes the player due to air ball. Would appreciate if gets guidance in this forum.

About this.. I turn off 'auto switching' on air balls. If it's set to Air Balls and loose balls ..When I'm running back with my CDM and the opponent crosses the ball to his RW to get to the goal line and score a pull-back goal, as soon as he crosses, PS5 will switch me to the LB, closest to the RW..but I'm still trying to get my CDM into position to prevent the running man in the center from scoring. This won't happen if it's set to Manual. It does mean I'm a tad bit later for certain corners or crosses..but generally this is less than you'd think. Because you're also not waiting for AI anymore..so you L1 the shit out of it with every cross. I feel that it helps me.. Also.. it happened quite a lot that the game would switch me automatically 0.02 seconds before I pressed L1 to also switch to that player, meaning now, since AI already switched me, I switch away again.. That's like double harmful as you're expecting to become the other player and now you're pulling another out of position for a second before you realise this and switch back again. This is solved by turning off all AI help for switching. What are your thoughts? PS, your e-mail says this is ep12, but the video says it's ep 13. :-)
