One of my favorite movies, the first movie I bought on Bluray and watched in 1080p

I've mentioned this in the past, but I'm curious to know others' thoughts. The viewing experience of the uncut reactions leaves a bit to be desired due to the fact that the method of syncing involves the movie audio cutting in every couple of minutes, which essential doubles the volume of the movie since the user's copy is also running with audio. It was especially noticeable with this movie, since the soundtrack often gets quite loud, so the doubled-up audio was particularly intrusive.
Does anyone else find this method of syncing distracting or jarring? It seems like they could just do what other reactors do and just show a blurred/cropped/low-opacity version of the movie visual without audio for the full reaction, which makes it effortless to tell if you're behind or ahead at any given moment, rather than having to wait for their copy of the movie video and audio to show up intermittently.
