2023-05-13 12:43:33 +0000 UTCAlso, if you've seen the trailer for the new one, you've seen that Kittredge is returning in that one (and they even shot him from the same dutch angles)! The director revealed another minor character from this one that's also returning, but as that hasn't been in trailers yet, I don't wanna spoil it, because it's great. Glad y'all enjoyed this one. All the things Jen says she enjoyed about this one remain prevalent throughout the series, so I'm definitely looking forward to y'all's reactions to those. And I wouldn't call #2 the "Aliens" of the franchise. More like the Alien: Resurrection lol. If any installment is the "Aliens" of this franchise, I'd probably say it's #4, as that also had a different flavor and is where it really morphed into the big blockbuster franchise we know it as today.

2023-05-13 07:54:40 +0000 UTCI would say MI is Alien, MI:III is Aliens, and MI:II is Aliens3 to follow Holden's metaphor. I may be a little biased though, as MI:II is my least favorite Mission Impossible movie.
