Personally my favourite rendition of Metropolis in live action which is not saying alot but I adore the very Art Deco Daily Planet. If only the whole city looked like this and used heavy Art Deco design for it's buildings so hopefully this is something James Gunn takes note of for his new universe and Superman movie. You could show Jen the Crisis on infinite Earths episodes for a certain appearance but watching those episodes alone may be very difficult jumping in with no context on these characters.
