It made us look into if there were actually different Donner Cuts. Apart from reediting the movie, we opted not to do a full reaction for this one, knowing that it wouldn't be in sync with what you guys would play at home. I'm sorry about that 😞

2023-04-29 22:34:19 +0000 UTCI prefer the theatrical, I think the Donner cut is not really complete: the ending does not work with the ending of the first film. I definitely get that the Donner cut is less silly and it was put together with what was available but as a whole I don't think it works. Regardless, I love Superman II. I hope Jen loves it too

2023-04-28 22:41:39 +0000 UTCI bought the superman box set a few years back. It has both cuts of 1 and 2 plus 3, 4 and Returns. I watched all movies and all cuts of movies in the space of a week. So I pretty much watched Donner and Lester back to back. I gotta say. I prefer the theatrical.
