(Early Access) Andor Episode 6

When will be the next upload episode 7?

Clem "spoiler." Wasn't a spoiler, you guys just missed it. He was the guy Mavra was with when they found young Cassian on the crashed ship, breaking things. He was also mentioned several times in previous episodes. It was actually a smart choice for a fake name. Someone can call your name and you'll perk up in response naturally. Fake names have to work the same, so using a very familiar name reduces the chances of people figuring out it's not your real name.

Yeah we’re mid-way through the season and some of the best action set pieces, best dramatic moments, and best monologues have yet to come

When I first saw this episode, I thought it was the best piece of Star Wars media, in any format, we’ve had in years…possibly back to Empire. Imagine my surprise when a later episode (or episodes? 😉) was even better.

Mark my words and you'll repeat them by the season finale. This is the BEST Star Wars show/media piece since Empire Strikes Back. The cinematography, acting, script, cast, set design, costume design, special effects and music is beyond anything that has come since Empire strikes back. Sure The Clone Wars has peaks and monumentally fantastic episodes and season 7 alone redeems entire Star Wars franchise - Andor still delivers high and above it all. The only critic that Andor can get is the pacing, but considering how fantastic Rogue One was but felt rushed and too condensed we can all see why writers of Andor show decided to give room, time and space to let this show and characters breath and develop before each quarter of episodes do a massive pay-off. O my god you haven't even seen Mon Mothma and Luthen truly shine and take over this entire show! You're in for a treat for spectacular acting and writing. I am biting my nails and sitting on my thumbs each evening waiting for you to post a new episode! Thank you for great reactions and now and then small cute banters you have between each other, it's so wholesome and wonderful to see from you Holden and Jen - always stay true to yourself <3

Good catch, never noticed that on my first watch either

Steffen K

I never caught that bit from Cinta!

Quinten Shibusawa

Knowing what's to come... Cinta definitely killed those hostages

Dawson

Details that might’ve been missed in this episode: -Skeen was supposed to cover Tarromin so he could get on the ship, but pulled back at the last second and let him get shot. (Tarromin would’ve been a problem with trying to take the money.) -Cinta is seen crying as she exits the facility at the end. There’s debate wether or not she executed the hostages in order to keep identification at a minimum. -Jesse was noticeably absent when Walter White was trying to cook up meth for the Aldahni people

Don't worry about the whole Clem thing being a spoiler. It was mentioned in episode 3 in passing. Easy to miss though. I had to go back myself to make sure I wasn't remembering it wrong.

I had to switch to the full length and watch along before coming back for the comments here because that was truly one of the best episodes of Star Wars ever made; if you take arcs from this series and combined them into 2 hour movies they’d be some of the best Star Wars movies The “arcs” can spotted by the directors: Ferrix arc (1-3) was directed by Toby Haynes and Aldhani (4-6)was directed by Susanna White; this means each director had their own setting and around 2 hours to play with across their episodes. It keeps the tone and cast and plot of each arc focused. Mandalorian had different directors for each episode and a shorter run length per episode; here there is ALOT more for each director to sink their teeth into. Ep 7 will have one director. Eps 8-10 another. 11-12 the final. That’s how we broke up the “arcs” As for this episode, what an INCREDIBLE job building tension throughout and paying off all the world building of the first two episodes of the arc. The “Eye” visuals were stunning - this show has better CGI then BOBF and Kenobi by a mile, despite a far less recognizable title. It’s mind blowing Lastly - I think this show does an amazing job of showing the Empire’s evil. In the movies we get the Sith and super weapons and it’s all cartoonish despite a planet blowing up. Here the evil feels grounded, and personal. Listen to how the Imperials talk about subverting the Aldhani, taking over their lane and turning it into industrial projects. It’s real shit.

Dang, ya'll are cranking these out! Thank you :)

Knowing you record these in advance, in the unlikely event no one has already commented, there is one post credit scene after the finale. No other episodes have one.
