Does this work in fifa 23 the same way? Also, with left stick does “clicking” the left stick down have any impact on the way the player dribbles?

Still is, works perfectly fine if not sometimes better now with faster and more agile players, you are probably l1 dribbling into the opponents traffic, you have to move away remember, you cant move into space, see the fifa 20 Episode 21 - Left Stick Dribbling: https://neal.to/fifa20e21 - Left Stick Dribbling Walkthrough: https://neal.to/fifa20e21w Example which still exist in every fifa the principle is very important

is this still meta? i found any time a LB/L1 dribble the ball is taken right off of me. in general keeping the ball in traffic seems impossible. shielding, LS, LB dribbling seems useless. Im sure it something im doing wrong but i cant figure it out.

Its just magical, thanks.

Hey Ramy, so its a very hard to do with D-pad movement, I would strongly suggest moving over to the left stick, its a hard jump but its really worth doing, the examples are with L1 but its the left stick which i can move left to right, whereas you will have to move the button very quickly to create the same thing

hi everyone, I have a question. can I do strafe dribbling, if I use the arrows to move the player? I am used to using the arrows. so I just use the L1 with my arrow movements? I notice that when i try to change my direction to the opposite, the player just drags back the ball instead of rotating his body and move in the opposite direction. how come in the video you switch the player direction to the opposite if you are using L1 strafe dribbling?

It seems like Strafe dribbling is the way to go for Fifa22 because it is more consistent with animation than agile dribbling then. I tested it in multiple games against CPUs and can confirm this.

I am a new member and i have defensive Problems how can i solve my this problem Sirr have you an Idea?

Good Job, very nice gameplay...hope i can apply to mine :D
