I think it's because these kids are fucking idiots and it's cringe inducing to watch them. And when Ezra is the mature one in the group you know things have gone tits up.

Just curious.
You format your videos with you guys on the bottom, and the content you’re watching on top. This leaves space along the left and right of the frame.
Have you considered using that space to have a slower paced scroll of your patreon supporter names or some other content?
I think it could be done without making it too distracting.

Just realizing how important rebels may be to this upcoming season of Mandalorian!
I’d definitely finish rebels before starting the upcoming season of the Mandalorian.

I hate how the Iron Squadron was taken seriously. Irl you'd just slap them and take them of the ship 🤣... or just slap them

It amazes me how much Holden and Jen forgot about the show they're actively watching

for the most part, this season is kinda slow paced but the latest 6 episodes of the season are some of the best from the entire show

Not all Mandalorians are gonna be the exact same. Some are gonna follow the ancient ways, like Din Djarin and the Armorer from the Mandalorian. Some are pacifists, like Satine from Clone Wars. Some are terrorists like Bo Katan and the rest of Death Watch, and some are gonna fight for the Empire that controls their planet like Gar Saxon from this episode of Rebels.

While we have not directly seen Mandalorians “serve”the Empire, recall that when we left Mandalore at the end of Clone Wars, the Republic had just freed the planet. Some forces had begun to leave, such as Ahsoka and Rex’s ship, when Order 66. One could presume the Republic-turned-Empire would return to the planet and take over, but we haven’t seen it on screen.
In Mandalore, Moff Gideon references some traumatic events that occurred there; later, in BOBF, we see some of Mandalore being razed by Imperial forces.

You've met Fenn Rau before. He was the villain of the thirteen episode of season 2. That's why it felt like part two of something, you just forgot that you saw it.

If you want to learn more about Thrawn and novels are your thing then there are 6 canon Thrawn novels. 3 are set during the clone/empire era and show how Thrawn rose to the level of grand admiral and the other 3 are set before Thrawn joins the empire and shows his rise through his planet's military. There is also a comic that tells the story of the first Thrawn novel.

I like to imagine the Mandalorians like the old Japanese clans and emperor. Certain clans have beef and over time their cultures differentiate from each other. The only one most really all look to is whoever has the darksaber.

In my opinion, as someone that loves 'Rebels,' I personally think that "Iron Squadron" is probably the weakest episode in the entire series. I don't hate it, and I don't think it's filler, but it is one that I definitely do not look forward to when re-watching the show. Anyways, great reaction guys.

Gar Saxon first appeared in the 2014 Dark Horse Comics Star Wars: Darth Maul—Son of Dathomir which were based on an unfinished Story Arc for The Clone Wars TV show that would've shown how Maul escaped after his encounter with Palpatine. Gar Saxon was then introduced in Rebels Season 3 but he was then featured in Clone Wars Season 7 within the Siege of Mandalore story arc. He was the Mandalorian with the spiked helmet and yellow visor who Maul left behind while he was escaping Ahoska.
Saxon: Lord Maul, I need back up. Our forces are falling, we need your support!
Maul: Hm, no. I think not. Any moment my ship will be arriving. Die well, Mandalorian.
Saxon: No! Wait–

11:14 I remember when the Rebels Season 3 trailer was shown alot of people thought that this YT-2400 was owned by Dash Rendar who famously owned a heavily modified YT-2400 first appearing in the N64 game Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire and a bunch of Novels. Someone even brought the ship up in a question was at Star Wars 2016 celebration panel after the Season 3 trailer was show.

The Imperial Sentry Droid are very cool heavily inspired the Dark Troopers from the game Star Wars: Dark Forces. In Mandalorian Season 2 we were introduced to Third-generation design Dark Troopers "These are third-generation design. They are no longer suits. The human inside was the final weakness to be solved. They're droids."
The Dark trooper Armor was originally designed to be worn by human soldiers as a battle suit but we've yet to see this in canon. In the EU there's Three Phases of Dark Troopers from a skeletal frame droid equipped with a vibrosword and arm blast shield to the Phase II dark trooper was equipped with the suit, a jump pack, and an assault cannon. And of course the Phase lll Dark Trooper the main unit and was never fully developed.
The original Star Wars: Battlefront and it's Sequel Star Wars: Battlefront 2 also featured Phase Zero Dark Troopers. The goal was to return aged veterans of the Clone Wars to peak condition, their limbs and organs were removed and replaced with cybernetics using much of the same technology used to transform Darth Vader into a cyborg.
In terms of canon we've yet to see any of this besides the Third-generation design Dark Troopers so all we know is there's also three phases in canon, my guess being Phase 1 is a droid while Phase 2 was humanoids wearing Dark Trooper armour and finally Phase 3 back to battle droid.

Gar Saxon was a character from the final arc of The Clone Wars. So I was already aware of him from Rebels when he showed up there. But for you guys, you’re meeting him chronologically.
