I was up in arms yelling "how dare you taint Rebels with your filthy copy-paste crap! The one thing that I really liked about that fight was when Obi-Wan started bashing in Vader's life support. I was like finally someone thought about it lol

Exactly! I really feel terrible shitting on that show because I cant describe how much I appreciate that Ewan and Hayden came back to do it. Ewan's Obi-Wan was arguably one of the best thing in the prequels. But that show was so shallow and silly at times and I really was just facepalming and struggling with secondhand embarrassment lol. Not only Trila was from rebels but half the episode from Fortess Inquisitorious ( underwater entrance, etc... ) So much of that show was lifted from somewhere else and not in a good way.

I feel like the reason the fans made up for it was such a cop out as well. Like "it's symbolic because Ashoka hit the left and Kenobi the right but luke was the only one who took it all off"... like the writers weren't that smart, it's a coincidence at best 🤣

Agreed though I liked Twin Suns a lot! I really enjoyed Vader's badass entry and watching Ahsoka finally come to grips with Anakin's fate. The fact that they repeated this in the Kenobi show ( instead of doing literally anything else ) shows how lazy and unimaginative the writing of that show was...

Probably the best 2 episodes of Rebels. Absolute bangers. Really enjoyed the confrontation with Vader and Ashoka, way better than Kenobis tbh. Also liked the Maul Ezra Dinamic, honestly think the season 2 finally would have went even harder if Ezra went with Maul and we started Season 3 with him as Mauls Apprentice, then have him turn back in like the mid season finally of 3 but maybe that would have been to much of a break from the statis quo

@Nicholas Wagner Yeah, but it still shows the lack of creativity on the writers part for the most important moment in the Kenobi show. Which therefore makes it feel like a letdown a bit.

To be fair this came waaaayyy before the Obi-Wan show. Although that fight at the end in Obi-Wan was allright I really did not like that they did the same thing. That show occasionally felt like the creators went creatively bankrupt and that ending was one of those moments. They could've do anything but they decided to repeat this moment in live action so in canon it happens twice to Vader. I felt like it was a cheap and lazy move. That being said this season finale is really amazing I enjoyed it very much.

Maul's return is what finally convinced me to give Rebels a shot, such a fantastic twist!

Maul’s greatest weakness will always be his overconfidence and cockiness. This has caused him to lose to Phantom Menace Obi Wan, Clone Wars Ahsoka, and now technically Kanan, all weaker opponents, whom he should’ve and could’ve bested.

Ahsoka was able to cut Vader's right side of his mask, Obi-Wan was able to cut the left side of Vader's Mask, but Luke was the only one who took it off completely.
