If you're going to go on to watch the third one can I suggest you not do the special edition/directors cut? They don't just add some scenes in they replace scenes entirely and I feel the original just flows better.

Theres a copy broken up on Dailymotion but bizarrely it plays slightly slower than yours so I end up a few seconds behind every 10 seconds. Can't get the directors cut version on Disney Plus or Amazon Prime for some weird reason. Real shame, I was looking forward to this.

When James Cameron pitched the movie, he wrote "ALIENS" and then proceeded to change the S to a dollar sign. Bill Paxton (Hudson), Bishop (Lance Henriksen), and Hicks (Michael Biehn) appeared in Cameron's second movie, Terminator. Biehn also showed up in The Abyss, as well.
