2022-12-12 06:44:33 +0000 UTCIf you remember Peter's father (Ego) tried to mate with an exponential number of women from different species to try and keep the celestial gene going. In one scene it does show Ego standing with who would have been Mantis' mother among dozens of others. All those offspring that didn't carry the gene were killed off. It is suspected Ego kept Mantis alive because of being such an empath. More to be discovered in GOTG3 I'm sure. Such a light hearted fun show. Angry Mantis is best Mantis imo haha.
