It also adds the element of your play to defend different, sliding into passing lanes, blocking shots and even sliding to create an almost barrier against your opponent forcing them away from a vital position. I explain you how to use a slide tackle and some of the main controls.
I would strongly recommend you watch the next episode which is a walkthrough, which after you have obtained the basics will explain to you some examples and the logic and reasoning behind slide tackles. This will come in future when we talk about tactical fouls and specific scenarios in which a slide tackle can almost change the way your opponent takes their shot or passes.
