FIFA School: Episode 6 - Jockeying Comparison
So the new patch has just been released as of 27/11/2019 on both XBOX/PS4. So I have tested the patch and where I think the dynamics are the same, certain aspects favor running jockey. The footage has all been recorded post patch to keep it as accurate and relevant.
In Episode 6 we go over the main defensive core for sole defending Jockeying. As I said earlier you want to you never use that contain button, I never use it and nor will I ever especially after it has been nerfed its all about manual defending. In particular jockeying and that is solely what I use, as many of you would have questions, I narrowed the pros/cons of each jockeying type.
You will see examples and comparisons of all the jockeying types and I explain which running jockey is the most effective and most applicable after the patch. Its important you understand this before we move onto the other defensive tutorials.
In the next episode, we will go onto how to defend with the running jockey, where to use and when to use it and how it combines with player selection.
