2022-10-24 03:57:50 +0000 UTCGreat movie choice. This movie still is very unsettling and a great watch, even 20 years later. I also remember being terrified of Samara back when this came out. Jenn is correct in pointing out how they paid a lot of attention to details , and created an overall feeling and atmosphere that brings you in to the story. The fact that this movie has been both parodied and imitated many times is also a testament to how ground breaking it was for its time and the impact it had. Since Samara , think about how many times the long hair covering their face, and unnatural body movements, crawling, distorted etc, have been used in horror ever since. Definitely one of my favorites. Thanks for watching!
