2022-08-08 16:36:23 +0000 UTCBeing an 80s baby, I caught a few references: I wonder if Eleven would have pulled a “Carrie” if she had her powers 🤔 The creature design for Vecna kinda reminds me of “Pumpkinhead (1989)” based on his hands I wonder if Reefer Rick is a reference to “White Boy Rick” who was a 17-year old teen who got arrested in 1988 for 17 pounds of cocaine. The ending to this episode made me immediately think of “Fright Night (1985)” because of the house.
