(Exclusive) X-Men Apocalypse FULL reaction

Jen and I got a little behind last week, but we've been recording more this week to get the early reactions back with more time between when you have access to them and when the general public does.
We're also wanting to do something more interactive with the Patrons, so we'll toss around some ideas. Feel free to shoot some suggestions in the comments. We've thought about Zoom or answering specific questions from you all for Patron only videos, etc. Let us know what you think!

If you go back and watch the first X-Men movie, Halle Berry does do the accent. It just comes and goes and is really bad.

Jean on the other hand is just a clueless character whose main role is to be past around as a love interest until the Phoenix storyline

2022-01-12 15:55:42 +0000 UTCThe movies doesn’t do storm, cyclops or Jean any justice. Also trying to force the Phoenix as Jean mutant power was dumb as well. Storm and T’Challa are no longer married by the way. Divorced after avengers vs X-men events.

2022-01-12 06:51:09 +0000 UTCthe zoom idea could be really cool. that deff gets my vote! also i was thinking that an interesting thing to try out would be some sort of "donation reaction" where you would setup a specific donation amount that someone could donate and suggest a movie / tv show episode / show pilot to watch. that would give patron followers the chance to suggest a type of movie / show that could possibly differ from the genre that is normally watched and then the reaction could be discussed via zoom. not sure how viable that kind of thing would be but it sounds interesting. i would suggest that it be a like once a month kind of thing, so as to not get to crazy or interfere with the current scheduled reactions

Storm was born to an African American father and a Kenyan mother who were both journalists who traveled to Egypt who were later killed in a Terrorist attack that why she in Egypt. Now when it come to her powers she is actually one of the most powerful X-men and mutants in general even surpassing magneto in power. Being the leader of the X-Men multiple times and also being the wife of tchalla. Hope this helps explain her character more it sad these movies never truly did her justice instead they pushed her into the background to be token black character.
